SALIENT FEATURES

  • Outboard spherical bearings,UCP bearings, take care of rotor shaft mis-alignment and also prevents plastic dust from entering into the bearings.
  • Fixed blades are located in inclined plane, which reduces fly back of material and ensures positive feeding of hollow articles into the cutting chamber.
  • The scissor action of Rotary & Fixed Blades reduces energy consumption
  • Hinged two piece cutting chamber for easy changing of blades & cleaning the chamber.
  • Sieve is cradle mounted for easy removal & cleaning.
  • Bearing is spherical roller taper bore & sleeve type(optional), for easier removal. Or bearing is ucp type.Pedestals are from MS casting.(in bigger models)
  • Bore of rotor pulley & flywheel are tapered for easy removal & maintenance.
  • Minimum clearance between rotary blades & sieve prevents unnecessary rubbing of plastic pieces leading to energy saving.
  • Blades are manufactured from Tool Steel, duly hardened and ground.
  • Fix & rotary blades both can be adjusted to set the required clearance between rotary & fix blade thereby, rotary blade & fix blade are used to the fullest extent. In rotor we have provided slots/holes, instead of threads in rotor, for fitting rotary blade with rotor. The disadvantage with threads is that in due course of time, the threads get damaged & repairing becomes very expensive.
  • For proper belt tension adjustment & alignment with rotor pulley, the motor is fitted on motor plate, which slides in guides, & tension is adjusted by screw & nut arrangement.
  • Screw & nut arrangement for lifting hoper & and top chamber can also be provided, (Optional)
  • Water-cooling arrangement for cutting chamber & rotor shaft cooling can also be provided. (Optional)
  • Rotor is balanced.
  • We also manufacture Scrap Grinders staggered rotor . The basic advantage is higher cuts per revolution; hence lower power consumption & better quality of regrind. (Optional)
  • We also manufacture Scrap Grinders constant cutting circle diameter. In these machines special fixtures are provided, which will set the blades outside the machine, there by saving setting time.
  • Scrap grinders with Ram Press can also be manufactured. This is extremely useful for those who are in grinding of voluminous thin walled articles;it reduces fly back & feeds positively with pusher into the cutting chamber. The production with ram type of arrangement is enhanced by app. 25% than using the same machine without ram press. The ram press operates hydraulically or manually.
  • Scrap grinders with force screw feeders are also manufactured. The conveyor screw forces articles into the cutting chamber, thereby increasing the production of granulation by 30% to 50%, compared to the scrap grinder without force feeder.
  • Scrap Grinders with additional deflector blades can also be supplied to granulate heavy lumps. This deflector blades can be removed while granulating voluminous items.(optional)
  • Scrap Grinders with side wear plates would take care of wearing out side plates & are replaceable, thus increasing the life of scrap grinders.(optional)
  • Hoper is of flared up design,which facilitates the in feed of articles into the grinders.
  • The Granulates chips fall out side of the machines frame & thus not requires trolley wheen bin for collection of granulated chips & thus avoid spilling of chips on the floor.
  • We also manufacture scrap grinders with "V" cut rotors. The "V" arrangement of rotary knives pushes the material in the center of chambers, reducing wear on the side walls & tendency to plasticize. The wear on the blades is more even & equally distributed.(Optional)
